Week Four Square Fourteen: Basketweave Stitch
Stitches you need to know
YO yarn over - bring your yarn over your hook from the back over the top to the front
CH chain - pull your yarn over through the loop on your hook.
SLST slip stitch - insert hook, yarn over and pull up a loop, pull through loop on hook.
HTR half-treble crochet (US hdc - half-double crochet) yarn over, insert your hook into the stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop. Yarn over and pull through all 3 loops on your hook.
TR treble crochet (US dc - double crochet) yarn over, insert your hook into the stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop. Yarn over and pull through 2 loops on your hook twice.
CH-SP chain space - the space created by a chain stitch.

Special Stitches
FPTR front post double-treble (US FPdc - front post double crochet) - yo, insert hook around post of stitch from previous row, starting at the front to back, yo, pull up a loop, complete as normal treble.
BPTR back post treble (US BPdc - back post double crochet) - yo, insert hook around post of stitch from previous row, starting at the back to front, yo, pull up a loop, complete as normal treble.
Tension
Round measurements: Approx 2.5 : 5 : 7.5 : 9.5 : 10.5 : 13 : 14.5 : 15 cm
The Pattern
Using your CC2, ch 30.
ROW 1: Tr into 4th ch from hook, tr into each ch. Turn. (27 sts)
ROW 2: ch 2, 3 FPtr, *3 BPtr, 3 FPtr. Rep from * to end. Turn. (27 sts)
ROW 3: ch 2, 3 BPtr, *3 FPtr, 3 BPtr. Rep from * to end. (27 sts)
ROW 4: As row 3.
ROW 5: As row 2.
ROW 6-18: Rep rows 2-5 until you have 18 rows.
Fasten off and weave in your ends.
